Matt is a British actor with dual citizenship (UK and Australia).

In 2018 Matt has appeared in the West End transfer of the Almeida Theatre's 'Mary Stuart' by Robert Icke (starring Lia Williams and Juliet Stevenson). Matt was in the ensemble and was understudying three lead male roles. He actually ended up going on as Lord Talbot (standing in for acclaimed actor Michael Byrne).

Subsequently Matt was Script Assistant to Lia William's at the Donmar Warehouse for her lead role in 'The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie'.

Since 2003 Matt has appeared in over forty plays (including fifteen Shakespeare plays) in both London and Sydney.

In 2019 Matt's TV career started to gain momentum when he secured roles in Joss Whedon's THE NEVERS, Stephen Frears's QUIZ, the new series BRAVE NEW WORLD (with Alden Ehrenreich) and an episode of the hit series OUTLANDER.
